Architectural Association School of Architecture is seeking an intern graphic designer to join its office in London.
Location: London, Bedford Square
Contract type: fixed term – six months
Department: communications studio
Reports to: head of communications/head of design
Hours: full-time; Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm
Salary: £20,000 per annum

Role overview
The intern graphic designer will assist with the development and delivery of graphic and digital communication developed by the communications studio with a focus on motion graphics.
Administratively, the appointed candidate will report directly to the head of communications whilst working under the head of design for the majority of projects. The role is key in assisting with the delivery of graphic output that the AA School is known for worldwide and to continue and enhance the cultural production within the school.
The communications studio is responsible for overall school communication as well as the design and production of all content generated within the AA, both internally and externally. The studio has been relaunched and it is an exciting time to join the team and take part in the future identity for the next steps in how the AA communicates its work to a larger global audience.
Applicants will be expected to currently work from home, with a view of returning back to office based work subject to easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
