Square Feet Architects is seeking a qualified ambitious architect to join its team in London.
Someone who is an all-rounder with experience across all stages of the process, and has excellent technical, design and communication skills. Strong CAD skills – Vectorworks experience ideal, but not essential.
Also to support the growth of the subsidiaries SqftHome and SqftDevelops.
The right candidate will be appropriately remunerated and have opportunity to help grow the practice.
An opportunity for an experienced architects with UK office experience is available at Square Feet Architects in London, at our Marylebone studio.
Square Feet Architects is a small friendly practice of talented people working on a rich mix of interesting and challenging projects, including residential, community, education, commercial and refurbishment work, of a variety of scales and values.
Successful candidate would have:
- relevant experience in residential, education and community projects
- proficiency in Vectorworks ideally – but if not, a quick learner
- excellent freehand sketching and computer modelling skills
- good knowledge of construction detailing and regulations
- good communication skills to coordinate the work with clients, contractors and suppliers
- UK Registered ARB qualification, with at least two years of UK working experience
- personable, a team player, and generally a good all-rounder
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work permanently in the UK and have fluent written and spoken English.
