Innovation Lab ECCO has an opportunity for a junior digital designer to join its Amsterdam-based studio.
ECCO Sko A/S Innovation Lab is seeking a full-time junior digital designer in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
ILE – Innovation Lab ECCO, is a cross-discipline and creatively independent unit interested in new aesthetics, alternative production methods, advanced technologies, advanced marketing and pure disruption.
We are currently seeking a junior digital designer with experience working on in-house developments as well as on special projects with global reach. Projects widely vary from digital interface design to internal/external communication in a dynamic and challenging environment.
This innovation focused position calls for candidates with a high level of inventiveness and technical aptitude and a strong interest in footwear, fashion, accessory and product design, wearables and interaction design.
Team size 13
The position is a long-term contract.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
– maintaining and updating existing work on website as required
– ensuring that all work delivered is relevant to brand identity guidelines
– responsible for organising, maintaining and optimising product imagery
Required skills and qualifications:
– BA Hons/master degree in media and communications
– one year plus experience in web design preferred
– experience in using HTML, CSS, Vend and Shopify is beneficial but not essential
– competence in web authoring
– strong knowledge and understanding of art and design principles
– fluent in English
– highly self-motivated with self-initiative abilities
– strong communication skills
– able to work confidently on heterogeneous projects, subjects and people
