The company: Alexander Rose is a leading manufacturer of outdoor furniture, based in West Sussex.
The role: Working with the national sales manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales growth in commercial sales (hotels, golf clubs, care homes, restaurants, interior designers etc.) in the UK. This will involve extensive prospecting to secure new customers. This will be a field sales role with some office-based work. We would expect you to work two days from the West Sussex office, with three days on the road.
Main responsibilities:

- achieve targets for sales growth by finding new business
- develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations and follow up
- plan and organise personal sales strategy by time and territory planning
- attending trade exhibitions – these may involve staying away for up to one week
- account management and providing support to the customer service and credit departments
For this sales representative position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- minimum two years’ sales experience in the hospitality/care industry/A+D
- possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and well-presented
- shows initiative
- clean driving license
- excellent IT knowledge of Word, Excel and Publisher
- a positive and enthusiastic outlook
- exceptional customer service
