Senior/project architect

UPP Architects + Town Planners is seeking a senior/project architect to join its team in London.
As a key member of the architecture team, the senior/project architect will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of various projects spanning across all RIBA stages. The ideal candidate will be managing multiple complex tasks and projects and should therefore be confident to multi-task. This role entails collaborating with clients throughout the project stages, requiring adeptness in running meetings, coordinating design efforts, producing technical drawings, and overseeing on-site delivery.
What we are looking for:
- experience in a similar role in an architectural practice.
- as a minimum, three years’ experience post Part 3 or equivalent
- strong technical knowledge/detailed drawing skills
- good interpersonal skills, friendly and professional
- ability to work independently and in a team
- highly proficient in Revit and Adobe Suite software; Rhino would be advantageous but not essential
- eligibility to work in UK
- thorough knowledge of the latest building regulations
- good written and spoken English
Areas of responsibility:
- lead and oversee the successful delivery of projects within financial budgets and deadlines
- research, test and develop solutions to architectural problems
- advise on the most appropriate design response to satisfy all constraints and opportunities
- produce and distribute comprehensive project documentation, including detailed drawings, reports, specifications, meeting minutes, applications and contracts
- create designs and highly detailed drawings in Revit
- collaborate closely with a diverse team of professionals
- manage design changes by adapting plans according to circumstances and resolve any related problems that may arise during construction
- manage project tender processes including attending contractor interviews, assessing tender returns and advising clients
