Eve Waldron Design is recruiting an architect to join its growing team in Cambridge.
A fantastic opportunity to work with a design led interior architectural practice, inspired by the creative process and committed to delivering the highest quality projects. This is an opportunity with a great deal of autonomy for a self motivated mid weight to experienced architect to lead the architectural aspect of our practice and help us to grow. We work collaboratively and feel strongly that architecture and interiors should be inextricably linked. We are known for the breadth and depth of the skills we offer in areas ranging from planning to detailed joinery design, conservation to interior design, project management to project delivery.
You will be working from inception through to completion across a variety of project sectors, from large scale education and commercial projects through to residential schemes and contemporary commercial offices, dealing directly with clients, contractors and external consultants.

Requirements:
– RIBA/equivalent accreditation gained from a UK university
– very good AutoCAD proficiency
– good knowledge of Photoshop, Microsoft Office Software, some training will be provided
– basic knowledge of SketchUp would be an advantage
– design flair for delivering project schemes from inception through to completion
– good knowledge of joinery design
– strong knowledge of UK building regulations
– assist in ensuring that the deadlines along the project timeline are met
– attend and lead meetings with clients and alongside other members of the design team
– experience is more important than qualifications
– right to live and work in the UK
