Morpheus & Co is recruiting for a design manager to join its team in London.
Based from our Pimlico office, we are looking for a full-time candidate at mid/senior level to join our award-winning, creative and fast-paced team to work on interior architecture and design projects both in the UK and overseas.
Working closely with the senior designer and supported by the design director, the design manager is responsible for the delivery of both the design information and the project, the organisation of the design and managing the resourcing of, and leading, the design team.
The successful candidate will be confident in overseeing architectural interfaces, space planning, resolving technical issues and build ability constraints, managing programme budgets, maintaining an awareness of progress on site, as well as reporting both internally and to clients, as required.
Qualifications:
- a professional degree in interior design, architecture or related field
- ideally three plus years’ relevant experience
- robust skills and autonomy in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign (3DS Max preferable)
- good working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
- first rate communication, client-facing and team building skills
- strong creative flair
- confidence in FF&E integration
- ability to question & interpret briefs
- strong organisational and management skills
- flexible, adaptable and a team player
