Hero Design Group is seeking an architectural/interior designer to join its team in Hong Kong.

Hero Design Group is looking for motivated candidates to join our Hong Kong studio to work on some exciting new projects. Particularly, we are looking for a strong portfolio in commercial, residential, retail, and hospitality projects.

You’ll make a great candidate if you:

• ere a well-rounded individual who is strong in both interior architecture and project management
• are comfortable leading small to medium sized projects from concept through to site delivery
• have strong attention to detail
• are an open, effective communicator who can facilitate an enjoyable and collaborative process with both the team and with clients

For overseas applicants, working visas can be arranged.

Your responsibilities:

• leading the design team to prepare and develop design concepts through drawings, models, images, material sourcing and mood boards
• creating strong visuals for presentations and imagery, through 3D imagery, sketches and references
• producing technical drawings and specifications for tender and construction
• communication and coordination with suppliers, contractors and clients
• monitoring projects on site to ensure quality control, timeline and budget

Qualities and skills we’re looking for:

• four plus years’ professional work experience as an architect/interior designer (candidates with less experience will be considered for more junior roles)
• holding an industry recognised diploma or degree in architecture or interior design
• proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modelling, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
• ability to work independently and coordinate with a team
• reliable and detail-oriented with good communication skills
• experience with on-site construction, particularly in Hong Kong
• a good technical understanding of construction and required documentation
• good command of spoken and written English (Mandarin/ Cantonese is a bonus)
• immediate availability is an advantage
