Garnett & Partners is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Garnett & Partners is a multi-skilled architectural practice founded in the early 90s and based in Southwark, a short walk from Bankside and the Tate Modern. G&P works predominantly in the office, residential and retail sectors and provides a wide range of services including architecture, interior design and planning applications. We work on both new build and refurbishment projects, frequently in heritage environments, and our clients include leading developers, property investors and ‘Great Estates’.
With an expanding work load, G&P is looking for an ambitious and talented Part 2 architectural assistant to join our versatile team. We require enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with excellent communication and presentation skills to assist on projects from initial design through to construction.
The successful candidate will be a confident all rounder, with both creative and technical design abilities, who enjoys working in a team environment with consultants and contractors.
G&P provides a full architectural service from inception to contract administration and this is a great opportunity for applicants requiring support for their RIBA Part 3.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Autocad. Previous experience working in Graphisoft Archicad would be an advantage.
Minimum requirements:
- RIBA Part 2
- one-year minimum UK experience
- proficiency in AutoCAD
- familiarity with Graphisoft ArchiCAD an advantage
- excellent command of English, both written and spoken
