Head of landscape
at Naga Architects
Naga Architects is seeking a head of landscape to join its team in Dubai.
Job role:
- manage the landscape team and provide architectural guidance, calculations, analysis, studies and recommendations for a specialised segment of the architectural work with them, including generating design concepts, research and production
- participate in presentation meetings with clients and consultants
- provide technical design expertise and services in all landscape architectural design development processes
- present and manage proposals to clients, deal with enquiries and negotiate through design process
- provide creative design solutions to stakeholders and ensures projects are continually meeting budgets and schedules
- capable in conducting site analysis, brief analysis and design concept presentations
- produce high quality presentations using Photoshop and PowerPoint
- conduct a professional research and keep the team updated with industry changes, evolution and best practices
- provide expert knowledge of landscape architecture principles and have final decision authority on all landscape architecture drawings and documents
Job requirements:
- minimum bachelor’s degree in architecture – landscape architecture
- minimum 15 years’ experience as a landscape architect
- excellent presentation abilities and proficient in residential villas
- proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Lumion, InDesign, 3DS Max, SketchUp, Lumion, Microsoft Office and Revit is a must)
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
