VG&P is hiring a sales administrator to join its team in London.
Very Good & Proper design and manufacture carefully considered, practical and beautiful products. Our products are built to last and are manufactured in the UK and Europe. VG&P has received wide acclaim for the quality, functionality and fresh, colourful modernism of its commercially-focused workplace furniture. It has attracted a wide, loyal client base in the creative sector.
The acquisition of the Isokon Plus brand, famous for its hand-crafted design classics by Marcel Breuer, Barber & Osgerby and Ernest Race, has given VG&P a wider range of product and opportunities to work with different designers to create new and exciting pieces.
VG&P are currently looking for a new member to join its small and dynamic sales team in a supporting role to help develop growth in the UK and internationally, across both contract and retail markets.
As part of a small but expanding team, the responsibilities are varied and offer flexibility to grow and develop within the company.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- supporting the sales team
- general administrative support to the contract sales team
- checking order confirmations and ensuring discrepancies and claims are dealt with efficiently
- supply of marketing and sample materials, assisting with loan items
- preparing quotations & processing sales orders
- coordinating with production team at weekly progress meetings
- customer service: delivery updates
- supporting the sales team during client visits
- preparing the showroom for presentations
The ideal candidate be:
- well organised, with an ability to work to a high level of accuracy, showing an acute attention to detail
- have the ability to manage time effectively
Some previous experience in a similar role is a bonus though not essential. Training will be provided.
