Experienced Part 2/Part 3
at MG Architects
MGA is seeking an experienced Part 2/Part 3 architect to join its team in London.
We are a friendly practice of architects based in Wandsworth, working on a range of projects across London. The practice designs and delivers a variety of project types from high-end residential extensions, refurbishments, retrofit commercial units to new-build residential or mixed-use developments.
Our practice is looking for a talented designer with good communication skills and evidence of practical experience in delivering projects through RIBA Work Stages one to five. The successful candidate should be a confident all-rounder with good technical design abilities who is comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
The successful candidate should also have skill sets in the following areas:
- ArchiCAD 2D and 3D
- 3D rendering in V-Ray or Enscape
- good graphical presentation skills and experience of the Adobe software suite
- good communication; in writing, drawing, on screen and in person
The ideal candidate will also have:
- minimum of two years’ experience post-Part 2
- relevant work permits and must already be living in the UK at the time of application
- self-motivation, proactivity, initiative and team-working experience
- understanding of residential projects and standards in the UK
- a good understanding of Mandarin or Cantonese is not a must but would be useful
