Hudson Architecture Studio is currently seeking a Part 2 architectural Assistant to join its team in Oxford, UK.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to help us deliver high quality residential projects, within a friendly office environment.
About us
Hudson Architecture Studio was set up six years ago to deliver tailored, bespoke architectural solutions in and around Oxfordshire and across the UK.
Our small studio offers employees the chance to take control of projects and enhance their skills, whilst supporting them towards the completion of their Part 3 qualification.
As a studio we work closely with a number of expert consultants and bridge the gap between client and team to run successful projects from concept through to outstanding finished spaces.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a talented Part 2 architectural assistant who is ready to take on projects at design and technical stages.
Applicants would ideally have experience working on residential projects and completing technical packages and should be confident in completing work to a high standard.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential to working with our high-profile clients.
The ability to organise your workflow and meet deadlines will be beneficial and it would be fantastic to see someone excited to take on other responsibilities within the office.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred, alongside other software such as SketchUp, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. We would also love to see examples of hand sketching and the other skills that you can bring to our studio.
Salary will be dependent on experience and reviewed regularly in line with RIBA Guidance. This is a full-time job and applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. A UK driving licence would also be beneficial but is not essential.
We will also consider applications from junior architectural technicians who have experience of working in practice.
