AP Valletta is hiring an architect to join its team in Valletta, Malta.
AP Valletta is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on and enthusiastic person to join its international team as architect.
The successful candidate will be a talented architect, with up to eight years job experience. They will be conversant with architectural and construction drawings and have an aptitude or interest to work at all project stages from concept design through detailed design and tender packages. They will work on a variety of projects, independently or within a team, under the guidance of a design director. They will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a flexible and stimulating environment.
The ideal candidate will take on a full-time role and will be welcomed in our recently renovated studio in Valletta, part of the Four Sappers Creative Cluster.
Requirements:
- master’s degree in architecture
- up to eight years post-graduate work experience in Architecture; the criteria for selection will prioritise skill-set and aptitude, not necessarily experience
- a passion for design, enthusiasm and self-motivation with a strong work ethic
- ability to work individually as well as in collaborative settings
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- strong technical and graphic skills
- proficiency in verbal and written communication in English. Any other language is considered an asset
- proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite
- knowledge of Revit and Rhino are considered strong assets
Preference will be given to candidates immediately eligible to work in Malta.
