Bushell Investment Group is hiring a senior interior design lead to join its team in Birmingham, UK.
The Bushell Investment Group is seeking a talented in-house interior designer to work towards the launch of a five-star country hotel.
Responsibilities include:
- taking leadership/project managing the full design process from concept to schematic design, design development, material selection, specifications and delivery
- liaising directly with clients and architects etc.
- creating and developing unique design concepts
- preparing quality design documents, specification and drawings
- interacting with various stakeholders
- ensuring full delivery within budget
- working closely with the CEO
- sourcing all interiors for entire project
Requisite skills and experience:
- experience in the design and management of similar luxury hospitality projects
- experience dealing with clients, contractors, specialists and stakeholders in a professional manner
- strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to pitch ideas to clients
- proficient knowledge of current building regulations
- strong technical and creative ability
- proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Photoshop, InDesign, 3DS Max, SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Revit. Not imperative
Role is full time for a minimum period of two years.
