Contract: permanent (full time flexible working)

HTA Design is seeking for a talented interiors lead to contribute to the development of HTA’s Interiors business.

We are an award winning multi-disciplinary design partnership of specialist teams working collaboratively in architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, interior design, graphic design and communications, sustainability and planning. Our focus is on creating great residential places – we have a 50 year track record of the design and delivery of better housing.

As an interior lead you will be expected to contribute to all interiors projects to ensure a consistently high level of design quality both conceptually and technically. You will be responsible for reviewing work at all stages of the design process and managing the team skill set to oversee projects and maintain direct dialogue with clients and wider consultant teams wherever necessary.

To be considered, the successful candidate will have:

  • a degree in interior design, or other relevant qualification
  • proven experience working in a similar interiors lead role is essential
  • a passion for and experience of working within the residential sector and of residential interior design
  • experience of working directly with clients, contractors and multiple design teams
  • a thorough understanding of the design process and ability to manage/deliver this from concept to completion
  • highly creative with the ability to produce concepts, presentations and present with confidence
  • ability to ensure technical requirements are competently met
  • strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively
  • strong communication and exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a calm disposition under pressure
  • strong IT skills, with a good grasp of Microsoft Office software and Adobe Suite (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop) and a high level of AutoCAD and SketchUp. Revit skills are desirable
