Mid-weight architectural designer
at Peter Mikic Interiors

Peter Mikic Interiors requires a talented, and enthusiastic middleweight architectural designer with good technical skills to join its London studio.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects from concept through to completion and become part of a dynamic, design-led and friendly studio. We’re a team of 21 creatives committed to delivering the highest standard of interior design

The ideal candidate will:

  • master’s or bachelor degree in architecture or interior design – or a qualified architect  or Part 2 architect with a strong interest for interior design.
  • have a minimum of three years’ experience in high-end residential and or hospitality projects
  • have a detailed understanding and experience of delivering projects from concept to completion.
  • have creative flair and a conceptual approach to design
  • demonstrate they are able to navigate complex projects, working with various stakeholders and technical constraints
  • have strong design and communication skills
  • be able to collaborate, innovate and learn
  • have an in-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, innovations and detailing related to architecture and design
  • be able to understand design briefs and translate these into plans, elevations, perspectives and to have the ability to collaborate in creating and delivering schemes
  • always be efficient in a fast-paced environment, and be able to effectively manage multiple workflows
  • strong computer and technical skills.
  • be proactive, a skilled problem-solver and a team player.

Formal skills:

  • be proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe CC and MS Office, SketchUp is a plus
  • be educated to degree level (or international equivalent) in interior design/architecture
  • have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

In addition to the above, applicants should have a passion for design and experience working on high-quality projects demonstrated through a beautiful portfolio of work, exhibiting their ability to contribute to the design philosophy of the practice.
