KPF is hiring an architectural designer to join its team in Singapore.

We are looking for a candidate who will take a significant role in supporting the design director on major Asian interior projects in the office.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills

Your key responsibilities:

• skilful and intuitive designer, able to operate with minimum supervision
• able to make original and significant contributions to a design team
• experienced in the design of retail and corporate spaces, experience in hospitality design will be an additional benefit
• fluent and knowledgeable of current retail and workplace design trends
• experienced in project sized from 20,000 to 500,000 sqft
• good communicator, able to attend client meetings and lead presentations to client
• a comprehensive knowledge of both local and international markets
• establish and develop a strong working relationship with clients on allocated projects and identify project opportunities independently
• have a good eye for detail, committed in the delivery of high quality and technically precise documentation
• able to meet rigorous schedules

Requirements:

• degree/diploma in architectural or interior design or equivalent
• minimum four years’ of relevant experience especially in conceptual design and detailed designing in retail, corporate sector and hospitality industries
• experienced in handling projects in all design phases
• professional knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign and MS Office
• knowledge of Revit, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Max and SketchUp will be a plus
• excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• must be meticulous, a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and perform in a fast paced environment
• responsible and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• good communication, interpersonal, observation skills
