ANARCHITECT is looking for an interior architect to join its RIBA chartered practice in Dubai.

ANARCHITECT is a multiple award-winning Dubai and London-based architecture and interior architecture design practice. The studio creates architecture across diverse typologies and scales with superlative craft, detail and materiality. Architectural discourse is applied with equal importance to architecture, interior architecture and design to create highly resolved buildings and spaces.
Founded in 2013 by British architect Jonathan Ashmore, the studio’s refined contemporary narrative is showcased throughout its accomplished residential, hospitality and a commercial portfolio spanning UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa. ANARCHITECT Team has quickly gained an international interest among the design-conscious clientele as well as the high-end design & lifestyle press, securing numerous accolades. ANARCHITECT is one of the first RIBA Chartered practices outside of the UK and is a boutique, principal-owned, design-driven studio.
About the role
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of five years of interior architecture and interior design experience of hi-end residential and boutique hospitality projects and must be able to exhibit sensitivity towards modernist refinement, tactility and materiality. Internationally based applicants interested in relocating to Dubai are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities include running multiple interior architecture/interior design projects in collaboration with the founding principal and other team members, delivering exceptional quality design:
- working closely with principal to further grow the company’s interiors architecture capability
- a focus on high end residential and hospitality projects internationally
- developing project briefs, concepts, schematic design and detailed design packages
- effectively managing and reviewing contractor’s shop drawings, samples and mock-ups
- overseeing procurement of loose furniture, lighting, materials and accessories etc. as part of a full FF&E package specifications
- ensuring effective coordination of all project information between the internal ANARCHITECT team members, international studio resources and sub-consultants
- to understand and assist in the management of the tender process if required and monitor the contractor’s progress on site
- engage in project competitions bids & presentations
- a highly skilled drawing ability and 3D modelling is preferred
