Haptic Architects is seeking a senior architect to join its Oslo office.
We are Haptic. Based in London and Oslo, we work all over the world, creating places that make people happy.
Haptic is a leading, award-winning, international architecture and design practice, working on high-profile UK and international projects across a range of scales and building typologies.
We are looking for dedicated and skilled senior architect to join our Oslo team, to work on a variety of new and exciting projects both in Norway and internationally. We have a number of highly ambitious projects underway that require your talent and creativity. These include an aquarium and ocean research centre in Oslo, Norway’s new embassy in Beijing, and a bespoke house on the Lofoten Islands. With us, you will develop your skills in an international, happy and ambitious environment from our central Oslo office.

We are looking candidates with demonstrable skills and experience including:
- educated architect at masters level
- minimum five years’ relevant experience. Strong design and implementation ability
- computer skills – Revit BIM, Adobe Suite, Rhino/SketchUp
- Scandinavian language preferable, good English written and oral.
- it may be relevant to work on projects with requirements for security clearance. For these projects, Norwegian citizenship or other connection to Norway will have to be documented. Please highlight this in you application
- you should be a strong designer and have experience with project delivery using Revit. You should have experience of detailing and interdisciplinary planning and be familiar with municipal case processing and be motivated to take responsibility for deliveries
