Part-II architectural assistant
at Higgs Young Architects
Higgs Young Architects is looking for a Part-II architectural assistant to join its London team.
We are small architectural practice based in Marylebone, we are working on small and large scale projects ranging from residential extensions and refurbishments to masterplanning. We are looking for an enthusiastic Part-II architectural assistant to join our team. New candidate will be involved in all project stages gaining rounded experience.
Requirements:
- minimum two years post Part-II experience
- demonstrate ability working as a part of a team, assisting senior team members
- be prepared to work on all project stages, from concept design to construction details
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is essential
- production of reports, documents and other project supporting information by using Microsoft Word and Excel
- 3D modelling and CGI production skills are required using appropriate software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Revit)
- knowledge of BIM based software – Revit is advantageous
- knowledge of UK building regulations and planning stage would be beneficial
