Pedder & Scampton Architects is looking for a Part-III architect to join its team in London.
Full or part-time architect
Pedder & Scampton Architects is an award winning busy small practice based in Islington working on a range of community, residential and commercial projects. We are looking for an RIBA Part-III architect with a minimum of 2 years experience to join the office immediately.
The applicant should have a strong construction background with design and technical skills to work on all the RIBA work stages. You will be working on a number of small to medium sized projects and be responsible for producing bid and early stage information and graphics, full detailed design/tender packages including technical details, schedules and NBS specifications. A working knowledge of UK building regulations, planning requirements is expected.
Other skills requirements:
- an ability to manage time working on a number of issues at one time
- comfortable working in AutoCAD Light, 2D as well as Adobe Creative suite
- fluency in written and spoken English
- able to work within a team as well as independently
- be able to take the initiative
- ability to manage a project through all RIBA work stages and familiar with traditional and D&B procurement processes
- relevant permit for working in the UK, if not a UK native or resident
- full-time position or three days a week
