OReilly.Studio is seeking a visual artist/visualiser to join its team in London.

This is for an initial three month term working on exciting visualisation projects across multiple sectors with the opportunity to extend. There is the option of remote working.

OReilly.Studio is a Visual Communication Studio specialised in creating bespoke digital Art and animations for the creative industries. We work to create resonating and memorable imagery. We create still imagery, animations and VR scenarios to help convey any narrative.

Job description

We are looking for a highly creative visualiser/digital artist with a strong skills set and the ability to take an image through all stages from inception to completion. They will be able to work independently and on a range of scales from larger (masterplans) to smaller more detailed spaces. They will be able to use multiple software and will not be restricted by software constraints by being up to date with the latest software.

The ideal candidate will be skilled and confident in multiple work-flows and have the ability to create emotive photorealistic or conceptual imagery. All artists are allowed the space and ability to influence the project direction and narrative, being involved in all meetings and discussions.

It is important that the individual is highly organised, work well under pressure and have a fundamental passion for creating digital art.

Personal attributes:

  • excellent eye for visual composition
  • interest in architecture, photography, film, art
  • ability to move across a wide range of visual styles from collage to photorealistic
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • ability to work to structured plans and time requirements
  • highly organized and detail-oriented.

Qualifications and skills:

  • minimum two years’ professional visualisation experience producing commercial level visuals
  • bachelor’s degree from an art or design school preferred
  • mandatory software – 3DS Max (E), Corona (E). Forest Pack (D) Corona Scatter (D). Substance Designer. SketchUp (D) Adobe Creative Suite (E)
  • demonstrated ability in Photography
  • advanced skills in digital modelling, UVW mapping, material creation, lighting and post production
  • animation – 3DS Max, After effects
  • MacOS and Windows
  • mandatory – have the necessary set up to work remotely when required

Position information

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing creative studio with the opportunity to make a great influence within the studio.
