Burrell Foley Fischer is looking for a senior architect/associate to join its team in London.
We are a thriving architectural and urban planning practice, based in central London but working nationally on high profile projects across multiple sectors. With an award-winning track record in cultural, education and housing sectors, a new generation of directors is expanding the practice to reflect our interest in sustainable conservation. We believe in the beautiful repurposing of the existing built environment to support our clients and their communities.
We are looking for exciting and visionary architects to join our team. We offer a warm and inclusive working environment with support from all levels of management. We want recruits with a strong understanding of the role of architecture in the modern world and a belief in social and sustainable value for the projects they work on.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team to develop a masterplan for a new urban quarter including new housing, refurbishment of historic structures, infrastructure and place making for a new community. We are looking for a self-motivated, confident individual with experience across all project stages including detail design and construction. You need to be a team player, a good communicator and have experience of working on traditional construction contracts in the UK.
We expect candidates to have good technical skills, be able to lead a team of consultants and act as contract administrator, as well as making a vital contribution to the design of a new community. We work in Vectorworks. 3D skills and experience of BIM are preferred.
Salary is based on experience, but please indicate your expectations in your covering letter.
