Junior architect

BoND is looking for a junior architect to join its team in New York.
Based out of Chelsea, Manhattan, BoND is a multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design firm with a focus on art-world projects, workplace environments, and inventive residential projects. Our work takes a joyful approach towards minimalism; it is emotional and humane, and seeks smart organizational ideas and material innovation. Our work has been published widely by the New York Times, Architectural Digest and PIN-UP and won international awards.
Junior architects work and support the studio’s design teams through all phases of design from concept and construction. Candidates for this position should be strong designers with exceptional verbal and graphic communication skills. Our atypical non-hierarchical studio organization requires our team members to be highly independent and well-organized, be able to lead and take initiative and work directly with clients and consultants. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the practice, and practice creativity in a fun and young environment.
Required:
- professional or graduate degree in architecture or interior design
- professional and/or internship experience (one to three years preferred)
- strong conceptual, graphic, and design skills illustrated in a comprehensive portfolio
- strong AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite skills
- authorized to work in the US
