Projects controller
at Futurecity
Futurecity is hiring a projects controller to join its team in London.
We’re seeking a projects controller to working as a daily and detailed manager in the field of culture-led placemaking. With your familiarity of project management software, you will manage and report on the day-to-day business, inclusive of our new business pipeline and the status of all live projects. The role is for a well organised individual to assist the smooth running of a creative business by working closely with the two Futurecity Partners (Futurecity CEO, managing and cultural director), head of strategy and accountancy firm, as well as facilitating the support and associate staff. Being enthusiastic about systems and processes, you will take responsibility for the oversight and tracking of the Futurecity projects from fee proposal and scope to resourcing, project scheduling and delivery and to provide a billing structure linked to project milestones, stage reports and delivery.
You are
Essential:
- an experienced projects, business or studio manager
- excellent attention to detail
- strong copy-editor
- a background in an architect, landscape architect, design office, digital or experimental design studios, creative start-ups
- super tech-savvy
- enthusiastic about systems and process oriented
- familiar with project management software
- skilled in the Adobe creative suite i.e., InDesign, Illustrator etc.
- able to manage time efficiently and prioritise concurrent tasks
- a team player, but self-directed
- great interpersonal and influential skills
Desirable:
- familiar with CMAP
- enthusiastic about international transformative projects
- passionate about urban placemaking and the arts sector
- love data and narrative
- effective managing-up skills for the partners
