Architectural technician/technologist
at the space* studio – architects & designers
There is an opportunity for an architectural technician/technologist to join the space* studio in Birmingham.
We are looking for an architectural technician/technologist – ideally an experienced junior or intermediate level, to work on a number of exciting new build, refurbishment, and fit out design-led contemporary projects across a number of sectors such as higher education, commercial offices, high end residential developments, contemporary domestic projects, and pretty much anything else that crops up in our fantastically varied workload!
We’re looking for someone who fits into our friendly, informal, and trendy studio and practice culture, and someone who isn’t afraid to take on responsibility. You will work alongside our established technical and delivery team who will be fantastic mentors for the right candidate.
Good technical skills are essential, and project running experience in the UK and the ability to represent the practice with clients will be an advantage.
the space* studio has been established for almost 18 years and employs a combination of architecture and interior design staff and enjoys strong links with the Birmingham School of Architecture and Design where some of our staff teach.
