Hux London is seeking a CAD technician to join its team in London, UK.
Production/CAD designer required for an award-winning and innovative joinery business, primarily focused at supplying interior designers, developers, contractors, architects and discerning individual clients with bespoke kitchens and cabinetry.

Our design team are based in our 15,000 sqft state of the art workshop in Colnbrook – close to Heathrow near the junction between the M4 and M25. The close relationship between design and production is one of our USPs. Therefore, the role is based full time in our workshop in Colnbrook.
About the role
The successful candidate will have joinery experience either as a bench joiner, furniture design graduate or in a CAD role. The candidate must have strong technical skills, be able to read technical drawings and have an excellent eye for detail.
Experience in production or production design for bespoke joinery pieces and kitchens is preferred but not essential.
Our designers work through the design up to client sign off. These design drawings will then be passed to you, as part of our production drawing team. They will then be drawn up in Cabinet Vision for our state-of-the-art CNC machine. These drawings are handed over directly to our workshop for production and to our fitting teams. Full Cabinet Vision training will be provided.
We pride ourselves on our close link between design and production. Part of the role is helping designers with production related questions during their design process as well as discussing and resolving technical details with the joiners in the workshop. The successful candidate will be a clear communicator and have good interpersonal skills.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
