Perkins + Will is hiring a senior workplace strategist/change manager to join its team in London.

Perkins&Will are looking for an engaging and forward thinking senior workplace strategist/change manager who can contribute to the continuing success of our planning and strategies team by leading a range of complex workplace projects. The role requires individuals to be able to think strategically and in-depth about client challenges and how workplace strategy can help resolve them. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things related to workplace and have a desire to be in a leadership role within a top global design firm.

Job summary

Clients and projects:

  • led and developed key client accounts
  • led and managed workplace projects successfully from inception to handover
  • supporting in winning work, writing proposals and leading pitches
  • ability to prepare fee proposals, and manage project productivity and profit
  • reviews quality of outputs
  • ideally with experience across both workplace strategy and change management, though happy to hire a consultant with one or the other specialism for the right applicant
  • adept in measuring business outcomes through post occupancy assessments

Team and project management:

  • source of workplace knowledge and experience for team
  • experienced in developing strategic briefs for workplaces on various scales
  • highly competent at facilitating user and client engagement activities
  • experienced in writing business communications and strong written language skills
  • ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively, often under time pressures
  • mentored and supported staff in their personal and professional development

Thought leadership and workplace expertise:

  • keen interest and deep knowledge of all things related to workplace
  • ability to think strategically and in depth understanding of client challenges and how workplace strategy and design can address them
  • evidence of having produced high-quality content on projects for clients
  • ability to draw out the story from data and present it concisely
  • adept at helping clients define a vision and creating an actionable plan to get there
  • desire to be in a leadership role within a top global design firm, contributing to the wider business ambitions in addition to projects
  • practicing knowledge and/or certification in the Procsi change management process, or similar.

Minimum requirements:

  • six plus years’ experience in workplace strategy and/or change management
  • demonstrable experience in leading complex workplace projects
  • evidence of strong leadership
  • excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills – able to convey complex ideas and messages in a simple and clear way
  • responsible and self-assured

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
