Benoy is hiring an architect to join its London team.
Are you a dynamic architect with an innovative portfolio to match? Are you looking to gain experience across a range of projects?
Benoy’s London Studio is seeking creative and experienced architects and designers to join them.
The architect role will be responsible for mid-scale, or aspects of large-scale architectural projects in the commercial mixed-use sector through all aspects of design and development.
What we’re looking for:
- are you a talented designer, with a portfolio that showcases great creativity and innovative thinking
- do you have experience successfully delivering or being part of a project team to deliver large-scale projects from RIBA Stage 1-3
- experience through all work stages and residential sector would be beneficial
- do you have an understanding of building regulations
- are you are able to work collaboratively, or with autonomy as required
- are you a strong communicator, you effectively engage internal and external stakeholders
- are you proficient in computer applications commonly used within your discipline – proficiency in Revit is required
- are you degree qualified in related design field or hold equivalent certification; professional registration is preferred

Key responsibilities
Design expertise
- delivers high quality design work, demonstrating creative and innovative thinking
Project delivery:
- demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development
- deliver high quality work with limited guidance, demonstrating developed technical and/or design skills
- manage third parties according to the parameters of the project
Team membership:
- act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities
- ability to work effectively with others to develop and resolve project issues
- support company-wide initiatives and proactively seek feedback
Client relationships:
- respond positively towards clients and consultants
- provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required
Budget control
- recognise the importance of the project budget and seeks to develop their knowledge of project financials
