Pure Milk Vodka is seeking a digital content and creative manager to join its team as maternity cover in Dorset, UK.
We are a completely independent vodka brand who make an incredibly smooth vodka from what’s left over in the milk after making cheese. Zero waste to wonderful taste! We started in 2012, and are based in west Dorset.
The role
The digital content and creative manager sits within the marketing team. You will be responsible for the creation of engaging content, spanning our social media platforms, our website (in the form of blog posts, product pages and news updates) and strategic email campaigns that align with the overall marketing objectives. You will be responsible for management of all creative assets, establishing creative department protocols and digital filing systems. You will be responsible for managing our social community.
This role will report into the marketing manager. Quality and tone of the workflow will be overseen by the creative director.
You will feed into and assist with the planning, execution and reporting of the wider marketing and content strategy, ensuring everything is viewed through a creative lens. We’re all about great teamwork and this plan ensures we know what content to produce, when and how to distribute it – and who we’re trying to reach – and of course, how successful it is.
Key responsibilities
Digital media and social community management:
- in line with the marketing and content plan, you will deliver the social media strategy across all platforms and make sure we’re using these channels in the right way to generate maximum awareness, engagement and conversation
- creating and editing engaging assets including photography/video/in line with marketing plan and brand guidelines for paid and organic campaigns
- keeping up to date with copywriting best practice and integrating with the brand guidelines, for each specific platform
- organise and keep up to date social media management and reporting tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of the work
- engage with and respond appropriately to any interaction with our social community
Creative skills:
- proficient at using Adobe Creative Suite
- photo/video/sound editing skills and the ability to create effective graphics/motion graphics
- asset management (Dropbox/Lightroom/OneDrive)
- exceptional attention to detail
- responsible for copy creation of all online features, product pages, email, organic social and paid media
Email marketing:
- write and design all email campaigns for the business in line with the marketing plan, adhering to the brand guidelines
- ensure that you are up to date with the latest data protection laws and best practice surrounding email marketing and data privacy
- report on successes and learnings around email campaigns
- create segmented campaigns to personalise the customer experience in line with business targets

- showcase our activity via the news and events pages
- organise all web content – correct asset sizing, neatness, alignment of assets across platforms and end user viewing devices
- optimising web shop function in line with business requirements
- ensure all product page content is aligned, informative, unique and engaging
- SEO best practice and writing/producing optimised content
