An opportunity at SINGULART for an Italian/English-speaking business developer – design to join its team in Paris.
Founded in 2017, SINGULART is an online art and design gallery dedicated to helping artists and designers take on the international barriers of the art market. Today, our team is composed of 140 people and 28 different nationalities!
In November 2021, we secured a €60 million SERIES B fundraising, the most successful in the history of the cultural sector! What a journey in only five years and with so many more challenges to come! On a daily basis, we work hard to strengthen our mission: empowering artists and designers and connecting them to art lovers around the world!

The online design and home decor market is one of the best business opportunities as it shows a worldwide business volume of 15bn$ and the biggest annual growth through all the market!
As such, we are looking for people with an intrapreneurial mindset who are going to help us develop this new vertical from scratch and scale it!
As a business developer, you will be part of the designer liaison team. Your goal is to hunt, close and accompany the best designers and design companies on the platform.
Your mission: empower designers from across the world and make the launch of design on SINGULART a success! We aim for a 100% monthly growth so be prepared for your next professional challenge!
Your responsibilities:
- identify new sources of designers and define with the team the best strategy to convince them to join SINGULART
- create and be responsible of your own pipe of leads
- approach designers and design companies through calls, emails and social media
- engage with and convince talented designers to put their pieces for sale on SINGULART
- manage a portfolio of high potential designers and maintain a trusting relationship with them
- help the team refine the value proposition of SINGULART to keep them engaged and satisfied with their experience on the platform
- be proactive in the proposition of new business offers for the different actors of this market
- participate in Singulart company processes continuous improvement and bring creative ideas to achieve our mission
What we look for:
- fluency in English and Italian
- you have knowledge of the design industry
- you have two years of experience as a business developer or a similar role
- you have a proven track record and a focus on hitting targets
- great convincing skills: you don’t take no for an answer
- excellent communication skills (spoken and written) with the ability to build and maintain strong and productive relationships with your portfolio of designers
- you are KPIs oriented
- you are willing to live an experience in a high-potential startup
- you are willing to help designers to make a better living and enter the digital world
- knowledge of Hubspot CRM is a plus
- you are willing to be full-time based in Paris (central location in a dynamic start-up environment)
