Wholesale sales manager
at Toogood
Toogood is hiring a wholesale sales manager for 12-month maternity cover to join its team in London.
With an established wholesale business in furniture and fashion, as well as a growing DTC business, Toogood is looking for a driven and energetic wholesale manager working across fashion and furniture. The ideal candidate will come from a luxury fashion or design wholesale sales background.
This role would suit an existing wholesale manager or a wholesale account manager looking to move up in their career.
Main responsibilities
Fashion:
- build and maintain close relationships with key wholesale partners
- manage new and existing B2B accounts
- work with sales team to set up and run the sales campaigns; including preparing the showroom, scheduling appointments and preparing and uploading relevant sales materials
- actively drive business development
- deliver excellent customer service at all times
- accurately input orders in the system, send order confirmations, support with any queries and manage and plan the delivery schedules according to priority level
- prepare reports for the wider team that provide insight and data to influence future product development strategies
- responsible for the Sales critical path – managing the timing of the brief/feedback/other reports
Furniture and objects:
- provide excellent admin support throughout the whole sales cycle from initial enquiry through to logistics and after sales care
- support the head of commercial in developing outbound sales strategies to grow our customer base
- research and outreach to new potential clients to grow our business
- proactively drive sales in order to hit monthly sales targets
E-commerce:
- work with head of commercial on seasonal e-commerce buy, using data to inform overall budgets and product investment
- work with the e-commerce manager to visually merchandise the product area to drive sales and tell the right stories
- work with marketing and e-commerce manager to decide on e-commerce product drops, balancing the needs of the brand with commercial needs
- assist with key product development strategies for e-comm, including product, pricing and wider trends
Operations:
- work closely with marketing team to create sales assets that represent the brand and clothes accurately
- work closely with the cross functional teams to ensure departments and individuals have the relevant sales data to make commercial decisions
- liaise with finance to ensure all payments are paid quickly, and tracked and allocated accurately
Essential requirement:
- proactive, good organisational skills and time management
- minimum two years’ experience in the luxury wholesale fashion or design industry
- advanced Excel skills
- Google drive, Zedonk and/or Cin 7, NuOrder
- excellent communication skills and attention to detail
