Tom Postma Design is hiring a freelance ArchiCAD technician to join its team in Amsterdam.
Tom Postma Design (TPD) is a spatial design studio located in Amsterdam, specialising in art related spaces. We are looking for a dedicated freelance ArchiCAD technician with strong drafting skills, a collaborative approach and an interest in the arts to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- work collaboratively with project teams across various projects providing ArchiCAD support in a predominantly drafting and technical capacity
- produce 3D and 2D modelling and technical drawings for a wide range of projects and scales
- able to carry out relevant tasks, across all phases of the design process, in both collaborative and autonomous settings
- support the practice’s development of ArchiCAD standards and best practices across the projects in the studio
- carry out the detailed design, drawing packages, detailed specification, appropriate to each specific project, follow the direction of the design team
Skills and experience:
- relevant qualification in interior design, architecture or related field
- superior knowledge of ArchiCAD software and processes
- flexible hours per week, 8 to 24, negotiable
- at least three years’ experience in a similar role
- demonstrated experience working in a technical capacity on architectural or interior projects
- strong English verbal and written communication skills
- eligibility to work in the Netherlands required
