YARD Architects is hiring a project architect to join its team in London.
We are looking for a talented project architect to work in our small but busy studio in London Bridge.
The practice works on private residential projects across London with an emphasis on design, detailing and materiality. We aim to deliver carefully crafted buildings combined with an excellent standard of service for our clients. We have numerous projects at all RIBA stages and are looking for a candidate with experience of running projects from concept to completion, including construction stages with contract administration.
Successful applicants will have all of the following skills:
- excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- minimum of two years’ post-Part 3 experience
- demonstration of experience with domestic scale projects across all stages
- evidence of JCT contract administration and job running ability
- excellent design skills, demonstrated through a portfolio of built UK work
- strong technical ability, working knowledge of the Building Regulations
- good written and verbal communication skills
The role will be full time and predominantly office based in our small studio in Borough Market. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. YARD architects are an equal opportunities employer.
