David Chipperfield Architects is seeking a document controller/project administrator to join its team in London.
David Chipperfield Architects (London) is hiring a document controller/project administrator to work on a complex project involving both new build and heritage restoration with high sustainability standards. This is a key role in the project team involving management of all document control processes, distributing and filing documents across the multi-disciplinary team and setting up and managing the filing and archiving protocols. It also involves project administration support such as monitoring project workflows, meeting planning, and travel booking.
Key responsibilities:
- involvement in all aspects of project phases including project setup, documentation review and transmittals
- filing and checking all incoming and out-going documentation, maintaining filing systems and folders; archiving project & organisational records
- setting up and training the team on document control processes & workflows
- tracking progress on the project programme, organising team meetings, assisting with monthly reporting process, booking travel
Required skills and experience:
- strong experience in QA and Document Control, preferably within architecture or construction and in a common data environment is essential
- excellent English Language skills (French language would be an added plus but is not essential)
- experience of working on complex international projects is desired
- ArchiCAD knowledge would be a plus but is not required
