Nikken Sekkei is hiring a project manager to join its Dubai office.

We are looking for a confident project manager with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will lead and manage architectural project on behalf of Nikken Sekkei.

Your main responsibility will be (not limited to):

  • liaise with clients when required to drive discussions to resolution
  • reporting to the directors in charge on design aspects, operations, risk management, contractual and others matters
  • strategically design timelines and work plans
  • proactively deal with risk assessment and management
  • support, advise, direct the project team to develop compelling design scenarios
  • contribute as required to the design reviews
  • support communication between project team, clients, consultants etc.
  • provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to help resolve complex technical and design challenges
  • production of contract documents

Our ideal candidates would have:

  • five to 15 years’ or more professional experience as a project manager in architectural practice
  • collaborative team player with good understanding of design
  • ability to use Revit, Rhino or similar 3D software skills for checking purpose
  • AutoCAD skills
  • other design tool skills, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
