Press assistant
at SALT

SALT is looking for a press assistant to join its team in London.

SALT is a new communications studio telling the stories of great design. We are very busy after an exciting launch period and need more hands on deck.

We are scouting for a press assistant to join us two days a week, with a view to increase to full time in 2023. The starting pro-rata salary for this position is £26,500.

The role entails:

  • helping pitch projects, manage inbound press requests and track coverage
  • inputting on press strategy for one-off and retainer campaigns
  • drafting newsletters and planning social media content
  • creating monthly progress reports for clients

Our new colleague will be:

  • genuine and friendly with excellent interpersonal skills
  • have excellent written and verbal english
  • have an eye for graphic design, experience planning and scheduling social media
  • a keen learner capable of collaboration and autonomy
  • some experience in either PR or architecture industries

We would like to find someone London-based, able to join us in our De Beauvoir studio space and come along to building and site tours. It’s nice to sit next to your colleagues and we want to build a workplace culture of connection and collaboration. Hybrid working suits too.
