Project manager/design manager – associate/director level

The role:

  • job role: project manager/design manager with stakeholder experience
  • location: Clerkenwell, London, UK
  • contract: fixed-term nine months
  • reports to: partners

Gillespies London office are seeking to hire a creative and diligent associate architect/project manager or design manager with minimum 10-15 years of professional experience, and an interest in working in a design focused, international office. A background in Middle East experience essential, as well as stakeholder management. A degree in architecture or project management is required, however we also welcome architects and designers with a strong sensibility for client management.

  • the candidate will have a well-structured and proactive approach to their work, with experience across work stages from concept design to schematic design and demonstrated ability to lead and manage sub-consultants and client teams on projects of high complexity
  • in the role of project manager, the candidate will be responsible for client liaison and sub-consultant management and communication. The candidate will also be responsibilities for managing project budgets, road map/timeline as well as the day-to-day project scheduling
  • the candidate will be thoroughly familiar with current computer software programs, in particular MS Project, AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite. They should work in a well-structured, precise, and reliable manner, take a keen interest in their work and be confident in working in a fast-paced environment
