Interested candidates should have the following qualifications
Skills and experience requirements:
- demonstrate creative design thinking and innovative problem solving
- practical knowledge of building materials and façade systems
- strong verbal and visual communication skills
- demonstrate proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and graphic presentation software
- an added benefit would include sensibility with interiors and landscaping
- three plus’ years of professional experience
- bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in architecture
Team collaboration and project management expectations:
- enthusiasm for collaboration and coordinating input from project team members
- flexibility for working on multiple projects at various stages of design
- ability to contribute collaboratively and positively to team discussions
- ability to self-manage time to complete tasks in a fast-paced work environment
- self-motivated to find unique solutions to design problems
- pride and rigor in producing thorough and quality work
Construction and building code experience requirements:
- practical knowledge of New Jersey building code requirements
- knowledge of building envelope design and detailing
- ability to configure and develop residential unit layouts
- an added benefit would include familiarity with zoning codes in cities throughout Hudson County
