We have a vacancy for an ambitious and talented showroom manager with a minimum of five years of experience.
The showroom manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals while maintaining an exceptional client experience.
For this position, candidates should clearly show competent knowledge of the role and be extremely organised and efficient as well as have a natural passion for great design and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- use design aesthetics and background to provide the client with project direction
- complete sales transactions from qualifying the potential client, to design consultation, product selection, quote preparation, payment processing, and follow through of delivery and set-up
- maintain the visual appearance of the showroom by effectively executing merchandise plans and strategies
- verify the accuracy of sales orders and manage daily cash/credit transactions and reporting
- respond to/resolve common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- assist in the management of inventory and facility upkeep to meet the needs of the showroom within established company standards
Requirements:
- five years’ sales management experience
- proven track record of increasing sales in a similar showroom or store
- broad knowledge of design and effective sales and specification techniques desired
- possesses a strong work ethic demonstrated by attention to detail and completion of all tasks
- proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
