Account manager
at SCP
SCP is seeking a confident and professional accounts manager to join its team at their showroom in London.
This is a demanding position that requires a talented individual who is comfortable and assured in dealing with high-end sales and developing strong relationships with professional clients.
In this position you will be responsible for dealing with trade accounts for both our wholesale and residential departments. Our residential team work with designers and private clients to source products for small-scale interior projects. SCP Wholesale sell SCP’s own brand products to international stores and dealers. You will be based in our Shoreditch showroom and will deal with clients in person as well as via e-mail. This is a full-time position in a creative and fast paced environment.
The role:
- respond to and follow up on contracts orders for residential projects and all SCP wholesale enquiries
- strengthen and develop relationships with SCP’s existing B2B network
- raise quotations, sales orders and pro-forma invoices
- manage the customer sale-cycle effectively, from order to delivery, installation, and aftercare
- liaise with factory and production teams to keep up to date with stock and issues
- work with the SCP finance team to manage customer accounts
- work to sales targets and produce sales data, weekly, monthly and annually
- maintain in-depth brand and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service
- if required, travel to client meetings and represent SCP during trade events
- help maintain and improve operational standards within the department
The person:
- two to three years’ sales experience
- ambition to develop a career in high-end furniture and lighting sales
- interest and knowledge of contemporary design
- ability to provide exceptional customer service
- experience with relaying product information
- aptitude to work independently
- excellent organisational skills
- personable and sociable
- available and willing to work some weekends
- previous CRM and Sage 50 experience is desirable
Full time: five days per week (Monday – Sunday, maximum one day per weekend)
Salary depending on experience.
