Senior architect

DROM is seeking a senior architect to join its team in Rotterdam.
The senior architect will function in the capacity of the project leader and project architect. The senior architect will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of a project to ensure the highest quality of work.
Requirements for this position include:
- a minimum of 10 years total experience in the field with at least five years experience as a lead project manager or project architect for medium to large scale building projects
- must have highly developed communication skills and experience leading a small to medium size team
- must have highly developed skills in project scheduling, team leadership, and consultant coordination
- must have experience in doing technical documentation and detailing, project related material research knowledge of construction materials, finishes and details
- experience in design of industrial and office buildings is a plus
- must have knowledge and experience with codes and preparing materials for review by regulatory agencies (in Belgium is a plus)
- must have strong AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite skills. Good Revit modelling skills is an asset
- must be fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Flemish is a plus
- graphic skills are a plus
- must be able to work as freelancer
- must be able available to start work in mid-August
