Make is looking for an interior architect to join its team in London.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate interior architect to join our London studio.
At Make we design with a love of detail and a passion for carrying a concept from macro to micro, seamlessly integrating the interiors into a holistic design concept. We carefully consider, select and procure every aspect of a building.
This role is suitable for someone who has an interior architecture degree with one to two years’ industry experience post degree.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- attend site briefings, pre-start meetings and other meetings as required with the project team and client
- create full drawing packages for tender and construction
- working through each design stage and taking a project from conception through to completion
- follow and maintain consistent drawing standards, project files and naming conventions already established within the design team infrastructure
- working with various suppliers and consultants throughout each project
- model making for sketch concepts through to final models
- researching materials and products and understanding their application, constraints and suitability in different environments
- ensuring sample library and online information is up to date
- creating and keeping updated schedules for use across all projects
- ability to formulate design intent and decisions, and present for discussion in a clear and articulate way
- supporting the Hong Kong and Sydney teams when necessary
- any other administrative duties as assigned by the team

Required technical skills:
- a good level of technical knowledge and drawing skills for production of interior architectural drawings
- a good level of technical knowledge for FF&E design and specification purposes, including an understand of material selections
- ability to employ technical theories, construction techniques and processes when necessary
- excellent 2D and 3D CAD skills including knowledge of various rendering software. Revit experience is preferred but not essential
- excellent drawing and presentation skills.
- good graphics skills (Adobe Creative Suite)
- proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
There will be changes specific to the successful candidate’s roles and responsibilities and duties may change from time to time to respond to the studio’s needs. There is a requirement for the holder of this position to adopt a flexible approach to work.
