HTA Design is recruiting an events coordinator to join its team in London.

Contract: permanent

Salary: £30k-£35k

HTA has an exciting opportunity exists for an events coordinator to join our design studio based in Hackney Wick, London.

The events coordinator will work closely with HTA’s marketing manager and marketing coordinator to provide first class support for our dynamic and creative marketing and events team.

They are responsible for developing, planning, implementing and overseeing all of HTA’s internal and external events and programmes, sometimes working in collaboration with colleagues across the business to ensure that all events are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired level of high quality.

To be considered, the successful candidate will have:

  • a degree in events or other relevant business field qualification is desired
  • proven experience working in a similar events coordination role is essential
  • experience of planning and executing events of all sizes to a high degree of quality and success
  • experience of using Microsoft Office 365 software is essential and experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is desirable
  • practical experience of using CMS for websites, social media channels and generally to be digitally ‘savvy’
  • exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate confidently by telephone, email and in person with a wide range of people
  • a good standard of education including an excellent grasp of the English language, both written and spoken
  • strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/events and deliver to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a calm disposition under pressure
  • first class attention to detail, consistency and accurac
  • strong IT skills, with a good grasp of Microsoft Office 365 software is essential, and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is desired. Good website, social media skills are required.
