BBUK is recruiting a landscape architect to join its team in London.

BBUK are seeking a talented, highly collaborative landscape architect with design flair and ambition to join our busy landscape practice in London.

We offer a collaborative working environment, with the opportunity to develop your own knowledge and we actively support your professional development. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work through all RIBA stages to completion.

The role:

• you will be encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for design evolution and detailed design for key projects
• liaise and coordinate with multiple external disciplines including architects and engineers
• develop designs for hardscape, planting, levels and grading and setting out
• develop supporting graphics, sketches and visualisations
• source precedent imagery to support your design ideas
• produce relevant creative documents for relevant client meetings and presentations
• be capable of working autonomously and organise your own work
• work collaboratively as part of a team
• be willing to learn and adapt
• produce high quality work under time pressure
• conduct preliminary site studies
• assess sites’ potential to meet client specifications
• liaise with client and design team
• present landscape proposals to client, local authority, design review panels, etc.

The candidate:

• you will have completed a landscape architecture degree and have around two to three years’ professional experience
• be a motivated self-starter
• possess strong technical design skills
• Be competent in design software packages, including Adobe Suite,  Vectorworks and Revit would be beneficial.
• possess good graphic design skills (Adobe Suite)
• you will need to be a team player, supporting and being supported as necessary
• a strong communicator
