Archello is looking for a talented news editor with experience in writing articles on contemporary architecture.

At Archello – a fast-growing online architecture platform – we’re expanding our editorial team to produce more original content to engage professionals around the world.

We are looking for a freelance architecture news editor to become part of our editorial team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Writing news articles based on press releases and short interviews
• Propose and produce own news stories
• Building out our network of leading architecture firms across the world;
• Produce listicles around all kinds of topics
• Advise on the headlines on the homepage of Archello and the Archello newsletters
• Advise on the content on the social media channels

The ideal candidate:

• Must be fluent in English with excellent writing and editing skills
• Has a proven record of writing lively and immaculate copy
• Is self-starting and loves to see the engagement around the work grow
• Enjoys the dynamic of an editorial office and loves to swiftly write articles
• Knows the world of architecture – the current developments, the leading characters, the debate, and so on

Archello is headquartered in Amsterdam, has offices in Toronto and Milan, and has a growing and ambitious team working from all over the world.
