Capacity UK is looking for paid architectural, interior design or graphic design assistants and interns in Europe.
Our Turing Scheme programme
CapacityUK is offering three-month fully funded Turing Scheme work placements in Prague, Czech Republic; Seville, Spain; and Lisbon, Portugal. This is open to anyone seeking a unique, beneficial and once in a lifetime learning opportunity abroad! Flights will be leaving on or around 23rd April.
Role description
CapacityUK is a community-based training provider offering high-quality training and work experience that provides our participants with learning and employment opportunities.
We are looking for graphic designers, architects and interior designers to complete a paid 13-week internship in Prague, Seville and Lisbon.
What CapacityUK offers our participants:
In order to support you during your work placement, CapacityUK will provide you with the following:
- €120 per week subsistence allowance
- a level 3 qualification in entrepreneurship within the European creative industries or digital media
- shared accommodation (own bedroom, kitchen and living area)
- language tuition – online and classroom based
- flights to and from your destination (including airport transfers on arrival in to your host city)
- travel medical insurance for the duration of your stay
- ongoing support and local pastoral care for the duration of your stay
Vocational training course
As part of our Turing Scheme programme, all our participants are enrolled in a vocational training course in entrepreneurship within the European creative industries or digital media.
Lectures and guided group work will take place during your placement.
The course will consist of several assignments and examinations.
It is a mandatory requirement for all our participants to complete all aspects of the course.

- to be eligible applicants must be currently residing within the UK, have a UK postal address and bank account and must have the right to live and work in the UK (i.e. UK nationality, EU citizen with pre-settled or settled status or any nationality with leave to remain status)
- students are not eligible – we are unable to accept applications from individuals looking for ‘year in industry’ placements
- placements are for fixed periods of 89 days (13 weeks) and it is a requirement that you spend the full period in your destination country
- the start date (flight out to your host city) will be on or around 23rd April
- the end date will be 89 days after departure
- there will be several online sessions of preparatory training that will be done remotely (one to three hours each) before our participants fly out – at these preparatory training sessions, you will receive information on the programme, meet your lecturers, other participants and start your vocational course
- attendance at these preparatory training sessions is compulsory – they will start 17th April (please be aware dates are subject to change)
- applications are only being accepted for April – July round 2023
- if you don’t fill out a form you will not be considered – after you fill out the form you will need to send us an updated CV and portfolio (with your own name and surname in the file name)
Interviews are completed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.
