Miller Bourne Architects has an opportunity for a project architect to join its team in Brighton and Hove, UK.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented full-time project architect to join our friendly team at Miller Bourne Architects based in our studios on the seafront in Brighton and Hove.
The city of Brighton and Hove is a fantastic place to live and work, being a vibrant and diverse city located close to the South Downs and only 50 minutes away from London.
Whilst we work across all sectors, the majority of our work is educational and residential, and so experience in these sectors would be desirable.
The successful project architect will need to be/have:
- RIBA Part 3 fully qualified (ARB registered)
- at least five years relevant UK experience
- excellent design and presentation skills
- proficient in Revit and AutoCad
- able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge
- able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of current construction legislation, details and techniques – knowledge and experience of MMC would be an advantage
- experienced in working directly with clients and consultants
- experienced in running projects and leading a design team and presenting design proposals at all stages
A clean driving license for all candidates would be desirable. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. New staff are expected to work in the office for an initial period, but following that, we offer 60/40 (office/home) hybrid working.
