As a part of our core industrial design team, you will be spacing from short-term problem-solving on current product improvements to long-term research and development projects. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will get to design future products, widening our portfolio, based on our innovative scent-based taste technology.
Your responsibilities:
- be a core driver for the ideation and design of next generation air up products; therefore, being ahead of the crowd, always innovating and bringing in fresh ideas even before they become a trend
- continuously challenge the status quo, improving our existing designs to meet our customers’ needs and ideally exceed their expectations
- translate customer insights into graspable ideas and tangible concepts
- transform your ideas and design concepts into 3D models and develop first mock-ups and functional prototypes, always with the mindset of proofing and rethinking them
- find a contemporary balance between aesthetics and technical solutions, in close collaboration with our engineering team, and other experts
- deal with different tasks/projects in parallel without losing focus for priority and urgency
- work and collaborate with your colleagues in person in our amazing new office in Munich. It is important to us that our interdisciplinary teams work on our products and new ideas together, physically, inspiring one another, surrounded by prototypes
That’s you:
- you hold a degree in Industrial or product design, or in a related field
- you have six plus years’ of professional experience in product design development, having successfully brought products to market.
- you have an eye for detail paired with a strong sense for contemporary aesthetics, that becomes apparent in your portfolio of work samples
- you are a self-starter, a fast learner, and share our hands-on mentality
- you are open-minded and flexible, with great interpersonal skills, able to build strong, mutually respectful relationships
- you are an above average communicator, who conveys visions and ideas to others with ease
- you are a fast learner and have strong project management skills, ideally experienced in using project management tools like Asana or Trello
